The Global Innovation Index (GII) is an initiative of WIPO – the World Intellectual Property Organisation. Its annual publication provides a snapshot of global innovation trends. The Index ranks the world’s most innovative economies and identifies the main centres of scientific and technological innovation. In its most recent edition, the index compared more than 130 countries.
As part of his commitment to chair ISO TC 279, Johan Claire, CEO of Innovation Way, has been appointed to represent the ISO Secretary General on the Advisory Board of the Global Innovation Index. This committee plays an important role in advising on the strategic direction of the GII.
